About our yoga…

Hatha Yoga

Considered the foundation of the many forms of yoga practiced in the West today. Hatha yoga pairs the asana (movement) with the breath. In Hatha Yoga we move our bodies slowly, and mindfully into a series of postures. Postures will include strength building, hip openers, heart openers & back stretches. We hold postures for a minimum of 5 breathes, focusing on relaxing and breathing.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga restores the body to its parasympathetic nervous system. It helps the body rest, heal and balance. Restorative yoga is for anyone to find a way to manage their overwhelm and anxiety. As well as those who desire to quiet the mind and need relaxation. Restorative yoga is very supportive, therefore suitable for beginners.

Yoga for Beginners

The hardest part is booking a class. Once you’ve committed you are halfway there! Feel confident in Yogi’s Home classes, Claudia will cover each step of the flow in detail. Don’t worry about not being able to ‘do’ the full expression of the posture. The stretch is the most important part, if you feel the stretch you’re doing the posture.
